Accommodation
The University has 2,616 rooms in seven halls. First-year undergraduates who apply by the deadline are offered a room; most students live in shared houses in Oxenfurt or Novigrad from their second year.

Contracts run for 39 weeks, from the Saturday before the autumn term to the end of the summer term. Rents include heating, electricity, water, internet and contents insurance; catered halls include breakfast and evening meals on weekdays in term.
Renting privately
About 1,940 students live in Novigrad, where rents are on average 18% lower than in Oxenfurt, and cross on the Pontar Crossing. The Accommodation Office keeps a register of landlords who have agreed to the University’s code of standards, and will check a tenancy agreement for you before you sign it.
Problems in halls
Report repairs (on the student intranet; sign-in required). For anything urgent out of hours, such as a flood or a lock-out, call the Security Control Room on 01632 960733.
